2007 IN THE MILL POND
A
new display looking at 'treasures' found in a local mill pond.
Willowbank was originally built as Dam Head Mill (later renamed
Albion Mill). The mill closed a number of years ago and was
converted to apartments - the area with the mill pond help
preserve what a traditional local mill looked like with its
adjacent pond. The exhibition has some of the curiosities that
have been found over the last few years including numerous old
bottles, a mobile phone, a religious icon and a set of false
teeth.
