Friends of Saddleworth Museum – Join us

Saddleworth Museum, Gallery and Community Facility is run as a registered charity and we are reliant on financial support. The Friends of Saddleworth Museum provide financial support without which the museum couldn't function in the way it does currently.

The support given by the Friends goes directly towards the day to day running of the museum, contributing over £6,000 a year. The Friends also support special project, in 2005 they funded new shelving in the Archive Room and in 2006 they helped fund new floor tiles in the Art Gallery

The Friends Subscription is very reasonable and entitles Friends to free admission to the Museum, and to a 10% discount in the Museum shop. There is also a varied programme of trips and events organized throughout the year.

If the subscription is made under the Gift Aid Scheme (if you are a UK taxpayer), then the Museum can claim back 28% in addition to the subscription itself.
