By
Car - the
Museum is on the main road through Uppermill (A670), 13 miles
from central Manchester, and approximately 20 miles from Leeds.
If
you are traveling on the M62 take either J21 if coming from the
west, or J22 from the east.
Upon
reaching Denshaw, follow the brown signs to Uppermill. From Huddersfield,
take the A62, and look out for brown signs.
There is
parking available outside the museum and throughout Uppermill.
By
Train - there
is a local railway station situated 3/4 mile from the museum at
Greenfield. This is closed on Sundays.
By bus
- you will need the 183, 184 or the 427 from Manchester and
Oldham, or, the 365 from Huddersfield. There is also the 352,
354 or 355 from Ashton-under-Lyne.
By
Canal - the museum is located next to the Huddersfield
Narrow Canal with mooring facilities at Wade Lock, Uppermill.
