The event organized by the Pennine Model Railway Society is a fascinating weekend for those interested in model railways and will appeal to all ages. The weekend will feature a number of layouts in various scales from members of the society as well as other invited layouts.

Heritage Open Days - Civic Trust

THU-SAT- 10.00am to 4.30pm - 7-9th September Sun 10th 12.00-4.00pm

There will be FREE ADMISSION to the museum for this national event - a wonderful opportunity for those who haven't seen the museum before to look at some of what we preserve.

The museum would love to give free admission all the time but we are independent, run as a registered charity preserving local heritage and we need the income to help maintain us.
