Saddleworth Museum appoint a Development Officer.
Carl Bell, long term resident of Delph, is the new Development Lead at Saddleworth Museum supporting the new Villages, Past, Present and Future project. Having previously been Managing Director for 10 years at www.thewhitaker.org Carl brings vast experience in both attracting funding and opening up Museums and Galleries to local Communities. He will be ‘out and about’ all round Saddleworth in the coming months.

Saddleworth Museum appoint a Project Manager.
Jo Burns has a background in museums and creative engagement, Jo is passionate about helping local people share their stories and uncover the threads that connect our villages. She’ll be working with the staff, volunteers and Friends over the coming months to bring the project to life.
Jo will be with us for 18 months. All at Saddleworth Museum wish her well and look forward to a successful 18 months and beyond! Saddleworth Museum November 2025
